There are a few upgrades to my La Pavoni that would bring it up to date and help improve quality. I completed two of these but still considering one of them.
I added a gauge on the tank with a thread adapter. It mounts on top of the sight glass by removing the existing screw cap.

I replaced the existing bushing on the pull handle with this bearing to reduce the play in the pull action and make it smoother. Available from Coffee Addicts.
